Career Highlights:
"Born in Toronto to Italian immigrants, Stella Farentino considers Italian her first language and made the United States her second home after becoming a citizen in 2000. After appearing in several plays in Canada, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. She landed the role of Anna Barone on the popular TV series Everybody Loves Raymond in 1998, and had a small part as Cheryl in I Love You, But. In 1994, she took on what would become her most renowned role: wife of actor James Farentino, whom she married until his death in 2012.
Among her other notable roles were Gina in Alex in Wonder (2001) with Robert Hays, Starlett in In Search of a Woman (2004), and guest appearances on television series like The Unit as Ferretti in 2009, Chemistry as Mirella Brenetti in 2011, and Rosewood as Janice in 2015. Notably, Stella played the uninhibited Margo in Hard as Nails (2001), asking her companion over an open blouse and exposed breasts, "Sure I couldn't interest you in two for one?" while Tony declines, focusing on a missing person instead. This scene, lasting a full minute, showcased Stella's assets, earning Mr. Skin's appreciative attention."
