Susanne Benton (born Hildur, February 3, 1948), a retired Canadian actress, gained fame for her roles as General Dreedle's WAC in Catch-22 (1970) and Quilla June Holmes in A Boy and His Dog (1975). Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to a jazz pianist father whom she lived with after her mother left when she was two, Benton believed from age six that she would become a major star but die before turning 28. Despite refusing to disrobe for film roles, she posed nude for Playboy in 1970 and expressed the need to walk regularly due to feeling unwell when unable to do so on set.
