Susanne Severeid, born and raised in Southern California to parents who were an accountant (father) and secretary (mother), began her career as a model at age 18 after being scouted by a top modelling agent. Her healthy looks and charismatic personality landed her TV commercials, leading roles, and eventually a co-hosting role alongside Jeff Conaway for 'California Jam 2'. She transitioned into acting in popular TV shows and films while maintaining her modelling career. In the 90s, she moved to Europe where she continued her success as an actress, performed a one-woman cabaret show on Marlene Dietrich's life, and married Tony van Renterghem.
