Valérie Lemercier, born on March 9, 1964 in Dieppe, Seine-Maritime, France, is an accomplished French actress, screenwriter, director, and singer. Raised in Gonzeville and trained at the Rouen Conservatoire, she made her debut in 'Palace' (TV series) in 1988. Lemercier has won two César Awards for her roles in 'Les Visiteurs' (1993) and 'Fauteuils d'orchestre' (2007), and hosted the award ceremony twice. She also released a music album, 'Valérie Lemercier chante', in 1996.
