Vanessa Bell Calloway, born Vanessa Bell, began her acting career on the ABC daytime soap opera 'All My Children' in 1985. After moving to Los Angeles, she appeared in various prime time shows like 'The Colbys', 'Falcon Crest', and '227'. Her film debut was in 'Number One with a Bullet' (1987). She gained recognition for her roles as Princess Imani Izzi in 'Coming to America' (1988) and in films like 'What's Love Got to Do with It' (1993), 'The Inkwell' (1994), and 'Crimson Tide' (1995). She had recurring roles in TV shows such as 'Hawthorne', 'Shameless', and 'Saints & Sinners'.
