Silip (1985) is a Filipino drama directed by Elwood Perez that explores themes of sexual repression, guilt, and liberation among women in a remote Ilocos village. The story revolves around Tonya, a sexually repressed young woman who teaches catechism to local children while secretly being attracted to Simon, the butcher with multiple affairs.
