Alice Maud Krige, born and raised in South Africa, began her acting career after studying psychology and literature at Rhodes University, followed by drama at London Central School of Speech and Drama. Her first significant role was Sybil Gordon in 'Chariots of Fire' (1981). She played the Borg Queen in various Star Trek productions. Krige has appeared in films ('Habitat', 'Othello'), TV shows ('Star Trek: Voyager', 'Titus'), and stage performances, both leading and supporting roles. Married to director Paul Schoolman, she leads an itinerant lifestyle, maintaining a home in the U.S. while living abroad for work.
