Michelle Meyrink, born September 1, 1962 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, is a Canadian actress known for her roles as offbeat teen girls during the 1980s. She gained prominence for playing hyperactive whiz-kid Jordan Cochran in 'Real Genius' (1985) and female nerd Judy in 'Revenge of the Nerds' (1984). In 'Valley Girl' (1983), she portrayed Suzi Brent. Meyrink also appeared in 'The Outsiders' (1983) as Marcia, Cherry's best friend, and guest-starred on 'Family Ties' (1984). After her last Hollywood role in 'Permanent Record' (1988), she left acting to pursue Zen practice. She moved to the Dominican Republic, then returned to Vancouver where she met her husband John at a Zen Centre. As of 2010, Meyrink lived on Bowen Island with her husband and three children.
